DOWNTOWN DREAM DATE WINNER ANNOUNCED

By Jon Mayhew – LINCOLNTON – Each year, several businesses participate in a retail promotion organized through the Downtown Development Association called the Downtown Dream Date.

This year’s winner was Jamie Ferguson, pictured with some of her winnings.

Each year, the DDA partners with downtown businesses who donate gifts to be awarded to the winner. The contest is open for everyone 18 and older and can be entered at most downtown businesses.

Ferguson entered the drawing at Hi-Lites in downtown Lincolnton. This year's prize package included Valentine's Day dinner for two at Court Street Grille; a bouquet of flowers from Drum's Florist & Gifts; and gifts from several businesses.
