FATHER, DAUGHTER CHARGED WITH SEX CRIME

LINCOLNTON – Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detective Sally Dellinger has charged Nicky Alexander Flowers, 43, 2061 Tin Mine Road, Lincolnton, and Amanda Lee Flowers, 18, 3916 Puetts Chapel Road, Dallas, with incest.

According to Detective Dellinger, the investigation into the incident originally came in as a sexual assault. After an investigation was completed, Detective Dellinger filed the charges on June 24, 2009.

Nicky Flowers and Amanda Flowers, father and daughter, were arrested July 2, 2009.

Both were taken to the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond. Both had a first appearance in Lincoln County District Court Monday.
