LINCOLNTON
-- A woman claims that someone
shot at her in the parking lot of Family
Dollar.
The
19-year-old victim reported the incident
to officer Dwayne McAlister at the
Lincolnton Police Department around 4:30
p.m.
The
victim said she heard two gunshots that
"sounded real close," according
to the police report.
In the
process of ducking down, she grabbed two
children in front of her.
The
victim said a silver car sped away
towards Buffalo Shoals Road with a male
and female inside.
The
woman told police the shooting may have
happened because she implicated one of
the suspects in a crime being
investigated by the Lincoln County
Sheriff's Office.
At no
time did the victim see the listed
suspects or the suspects shoot a weapon.
Authorities
said there wasn't any calls of shots
fired in the area around 4:30pm Saturday.
