Ernestine Webb Dagerhardt, age 81, of Maiden passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Born June 19, 1927 in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Monroe Webb and the late Florence Austin Webb. Mrs. Dagerhardt was a member of Maiden Advent Christian Church for 64 years and played the piano for all those years as well. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by:

Husband of 67 years: Vance Dagerhardt of the home

4 Sons: Melvin Dagerhardt and wife Rosemary of Claremont, Scott Dagerhardt and wife Robin of Maiden, Von Dagerhardt of Maiden, Pete Dagerhardt and wife Dana of Maiden

Daughter: Patty Stone and husband John of Maiden

11 Grandchildren, 11 Great grandchildren

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Maiden with Rev. Dennis Spivey officiating.

Burial will follow in Maiden City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00-11:45 a.m. at Burke Mortuary in Maiden prior to the service.
