Stone
stoned at
time of arrest

A West Church Street woman admits to
officers she had been smoking
marijuana prior to a traffic stop
where she was eventually arrested for
driving while impaired.
Officer Brent Heavner stopped
35-year-old Elizabeth Ellen Stone on
South Grove Street Wednesday just
after midnight.
Stone was arrested and charged with
driving while impaired.
During the stop, Stone made the
admission to Officer Brent Heavner
that she had been smoking pot. She
wasn't charged with any
marijuana-related offenses.
Stone's blood alcohol level was just
over the legal limit of .08. She was
taken to the Lincoln County
Magistrate's Office, where Magistrate
B. Bynum gave the woman an unsecured
bond.
She has a court date of September 15,
2010.
