POLICE MAKE DRUG ARRESTS
Suspects found on South Flint Street

LINCOLNTON -- For two Lincolnton men, Friday the 13th was their unlucky day after Lincolnton Police discovered the pair trying to sell drugs. The incident started unfolding around 1:30 p.m. on South Flint Street.

Reports at Lincolnton Police indicate Charles Edmonds Christopher, 20, 1024 Catawba Street, Lincolnton, and Ricky Deon Dellinger, 1001 East Gaston Street, Lincolnton, were attempting to conduct a drug deal when stopped by police.

Both were found to have several bags of marijauna -- more than 48 grams -- and scales.

Both were taken to the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under $5,000 secured bond each with a first appearane in district court Monday June 16.
