DENVER
-- Firefighters from Denver and East
Lincoln responded to a reported mobile home fire
in the 6600 block of Denver Heights Trail late
Monday night just before midnight.
When
firefighters arrived, they discovered smoke and
flames coming from the front steps of the
dwelling. After quickly putting the fire out,
firefighters discovered there wasn't electricity
to the home and the structure was unoccupied.
The Lincoln
County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the
two-alarm blaze as suspicious.
The landlord
told investigators the home was vacant for some
time.
The fire did
minimal damage to the steps and some of the
underpenning. Neighbors called 911 to report the
fire.

Denver
firefighters were assisted by East Lincoln
firefighters in fighting the fire.
Denver Heights
Trail is off of Kidville Road, which is off of
Beth Haven Church Road.
No injuries were
reported.
