BELMONT - Darryl "Moose Lee" Scott Lee, 45, passed away July 8, 2009, at Carolina Specialty Hospital of Charlotte.

He was the son of the late Albert Edward and Charlotte Juanita Collier Lee.

Like his father, Darryl was a longtime member of the Community Volunteer Fire Department Station#32 and was also a member of the Belmont American Legion Post#144.

He attended Emanuel Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include his loving and caring sister: Diann Lee Riddle of Belmont and her fiance, Chris Farley of Hickory; Uncles: Ronnie Collier and wife, Faye of Fort Mill, S.C, Bill Collier and wife, Nan of Portland ,TN; Aunts: Alberta Gann and husband, Bob of Dandridge, TN, Mary Ellen Lee of Morristown, TN, Pat Buffin and husband, Pete of Lowell; Nieces: Jennifer Rudisill and husband, Shawn of Denver, NC, Brandi Lee Coleman of Stanley; Great Nephews: Joshua Andrew Rudisill of Denver, NC, Jacob Adrein and Justin Robert Coleman of Stanley; Special Friends: Billy Correll and son, Austin, Barbara Correll, Bob "Salty" Gantt, Betty Phillips, Paula Orr, Randy and Debbie Watson, Stephen and Barbara Belcher; Numerous Cousins

In addition to his parents, Darryl was preceded in death by a brother: Adren "Dickie" Lee and a brother-in-law: Terry Riddle.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McLean Funeral Directors of Belmont.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at The Bumgardner Chapel, McLean Funeral Directors of Belmont with the Rev. Sherman Branch and Pastors Troy Beaver and Scott Whitener officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Community Fire Department #32, 1873 Perfection Rd., North Belmont, NC 28012.
