CYCLE
NC MAKES STOP IN LINCOLNTON
Cyclists
spend night in "tent city" at Betty
Ross Park

LINCOLNTON
-- It looked more like a Woodstock
Concert than more than 1,000 bicyclists camping
out at Betty Ross Park.
The tent city,
catering by Melamoose Scoops and Java, Alive
After Five; all events centered around Cycle NC's
visit to Lincolnton Monday.

Rick Presnell
with Cycle NC said Lincolnton was very
hospitable.
"This is
really nice," said Presnell, while taking
pictures at Melamoose Monday night.
Seranading the
bicyclists were the beach band Ocean Boulevard,
who put on a special concert on the Court Square
for participants, as well as a reschedule from an
earlier Alive After Five that was rained out.
Lincolnton was
one of six stops along the Cycle NC tour, which
wraps up Oct. 4 on the coast.
