DENVER -- Two suspects
are in custody after Lincoln County
Sheriff's detectives said they tried to
rob the CVS Pharmacy at 2128 Highway 16
North Friday morning after robbing the
pharmacy Wednesday afternoon.
A white male dressed in all black
clothing entered the store around 9:20
a.m.and approached the pharmacy and
demanded drugs. The suspect did not show
a weapon and no one in the store was
injured
The clerk yelled for security over the
store intercom and the man fled the scene
without any drugs. He ran out the front
door, and around behind the store before
disappearing into a wooded area. The
pharmacist followed the man and got a
description of a vehicle he was in.
The suspect got into a white Volkswagen
Jetta occupied by another person parked
on Fairfield Forest Road. Sgt Martin Hill
located the vehicle as it pulled onto
Highway 16 from Lake Shore Road South.
He stopped the vehicle near the ABC Store
at Highway 16/73 and placed a white male
and white female in custody. They were
also involved in the earlier incident on
Wednesday as well. They were interviewed
at the Sheriffs Office and charged
with the crimes.
On Wednesday, a white male using the same
procedures robbed the pharmacy of pain
killer drugs. He was described as 5 feet
7 inches tall, with short cropped
hair and wearing a dark blue jacket,
jeans and a dark colored shirt.
Detectives charged Ryan Joseph Bauman,
23, of 7487 Pilot Cove Ct., Denver with

incident and one felony count of
Attempted Common Law Robbery for the
robbery attempt today. He is under a
