BOGER
CITY -- The driver of a dump truck may
face charges after an accident with a pickup
truck. The accident happened Thursday just after
8 a.m. when Micael Kimray was pulling out of the
Lincoln Forest sub division.
Kimray
told authorities he was struck by the dump truck,
traveling west on Highway 150. The impact pushed
Kimray's truck up an embankment. Fortunately,
Kimray wasn't injured but his truck had to be
towed.

The
dump truck, driven by Jamey Lineberger of
Hopewell Church Road, Catawba, then ran off the
right side of Highway 150. Lineberger clipped a
utility pole, damaging the pole, and crossed
Curve View Drive.
Lineberger's
dump truck came to rest, overturned, on top of a
car hauler parked in the front yard of a
residence.

North
Carolina Highway Patrol trooper B.E. Hipp said
Lineberger was taken to the hospital with what he
believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
The
Highway Patrol Motor Carrier Enforcement is
investigating whether or not the cargo hauler is
legal and NC highway Patrol Troopers are still
investigating the wreck itself. Charges may be
pending against Lineberger.
As of
Thursday evening, the accident remained under
investigation.
