-- For the second year in a row,
Carolina Trust Bank has been named
Lincoln County United Way Pacesetter of
the Year.
Activities that contributed to CTBs
successful United Way campaign
included 100% employee participation,
corporate contribution, utilization of
United Way agencies/speakers and videos,
day off for Fair Share
contributors, all to raise more than
$10,290.
The campaign started in September and
consists of 9 local businesses
who run their employee campaign to
kickoff the United Ways annual
campaign. Pacesetters include Carolina
Trust Bank, First Federal Bank,
Lincoln County Schools, The Timken
Company, CMC-Lincoln, City of
Lincolnton, Belk, First Citizens
Bank, and Lincoln County Government. The
Pacesetters raised over $155,000
for Lincoln County agencies.
