COUNTERFEIT MONEY FOUND AT BUSINESS

LINCOLNTON -- Police are investigating a counterfeit money case, where a counterfeit $10 bill ended up in a Dollar General.

Authorities were called to the Center Drive location around 5:30pm Wednesday after the bill had been used to pay for merchandise.

Police are looking at store surveilance tape to see if they can get a profile of the suspect in the case.

Authorities recommend that people check bills to be sure they're real.
