William James “Bill”
Coulter, age 77 of 928 Riverwood
Lane in Lincolnton, passed away
on Wednesday, August 25, 2010.
A memorial service will be held
2:00 pm on Friday, August 27,
2010 at First Baptist Church with
Rev. Dr. Stanley Spence and Rev.
Dr. Dixon Free officiating. The
family will receive friends from
12:30 until 1:45 pm on Friday
prior to the service at the
church.
Mr. Coulter was born February 2,
1933 in Orange County, NY to the
late Rose Carfora Fontee. He was
also preceded in death by his
step-father, Mike Fontee. Mr.
Coulter retired from Mohican
Mills where he worked as an
engineer. Mr. Coulter served in
the United States Marine Corps
during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Doris
Ewing Coulter of the home; one
son, James Coulter of Henderson,
NC; and one grandson, Tony
Coulter.
