James David Aelick and Thomas
Bielefeldt, both of Charlotte, were
served additional Lincolnton Police
warrants at the Harven A. Crouse
Detention Center.
Aelick, 51, and Bielefeldt, 37, were
charged by Detective Chuck McGinley on
two felony counts of obtaining property
by false pretenses.
Both are accused of cashing a fraudulent
check at the Boger City Food Lion back on
June 23. After cashing the check,
supposedly written on an account
belonging to Denver Construction Company,
the manager eventually made contact with
the business, who told the manager the
checks were bad.
Aelick and Bielefeldt have been jailed
since June 24 on forgery and uttering
charges. They were both being held
without bond on these charges.
Bond on the new charges was set at
$25,000 secured each.
