CHASE ENDS WITH TWO IN CUSTODY

DENVER -- An overnight vehicle and foot chase ends just after midnight with two suspects in custody in eastern Lincoln County.

The incident started around 11:40pm Thursday, when members of the North Carolina Highway Patrol began chasing a 1995 green Buick.

Within a half hour, the chase ended at Cocker Spaniel Court and Dalmation Street. NCHP Trooper S. Boyles is investigating the incident. The chase happened off Highway 73 near Old Plank Road.

Radio traffic indicated two men were taken into custody. Both suspects are 15 years of age. The pair were picked up on Daschund Drive.

Lincoln County EMS was called to check on at least one of the suspects.

Radio traffic indicated the 1995 Buick had an expired tag and an insurance stop.
