A classic car, on display as part
of a weekly promotion at
Lincolnton's Fatz Cafe on East
Main Street, tried to create a
drive-thru Tuesday night around
8pm.
The car hit the east side of the
restaurant, breaking a window and
pushing part of the building in
about six inches according to
city police officer Brandon
Hunsucker.
No injuries were reported in the
incident, which remained under
investigation as of Tuesday
evening.
The building inspector was called
in to be sure the building was
structurally sound. The
restaurant was not evacuated as a
result of the incident.
