Lincoln) -- The Millennium
Wrestling Federation presents its annual
supershow, Brawlgames, this coming
Saturday at 8pm at the Howards Creek
Veterans Center off Highway 27 west of
Lincolnton.
And the show not only marks the tenth
anniversary of the MWF itself, it marks
the ending of a career of one of the most
prolific wrestlers in the federation
ever.
The Sycho Superstar is retiring after his
World Title match against "The Queen
City Classic" Chris Solar. Superstar
made the stunning announcement at the end
of the Nov. 14 show.
"After 11 years, it's time to hang
the boots up," said Sycho Superstar
after a title defense against Solar which
saw Solar win by disqualification.
"And me and Chris Solar, one more
time."
The match, as well as the six-man
Brawlgames match itself, will be held
inside a steel cage.
Another title match on the card is
"The Natural" Brandon Powers
defending the North American Title
against "The Cadillac of Stars"
Zane Riley.
Also scheduled to appear on the card is
MWF owner Timothy Longbottom, who is
expected to name a new commissioner; the
MWF Tag Team Champions The Ruff Ryders;
"Rude Boy" Nick Damage;
Gabriel; A.G. Smooth; J-Prep; Adam James
and others.
Tickets are $5 with kids 6 and under
admitted free. Doors open at 7pm and
belltime is at 8pm. For more information,
