MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT AT REST HOME

BOGER CITY – A Lincoln County man faces charges after an assault at a rest home facility in Boger City.

Sheriff’s deputies took Paul Hensley in custody after the assault. He was taken to the Lincoln County Magistrate’s Office where EMS had to be called because of minor injuries.

Deputy Brandon Posey and Sgt. Will Pitts both said the man assaulted someone at the Boger City Rest Home.

Hensley was charged with simply assault and taken to the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $3,500 bond. He remained in jail as of late Sunday night.

“EMS checked Mr. Hensley out and determined he was going to be fine,” said Pitts. “He’s going to be transported to jail.”
