Calls for Feb. 13, 2009

Suspicious person -- 213 S. Aspen Street -- Officer Mike Reep said subjects were in a car in the parking lot of Bank of America.

Speak with an officer -- 305 Rock Creek Drive -- Officer Jimmy Barlowe said a subject wanted to speak to an officer in reference to people running a stop sign.

Disturbance -- 203 N. Oak Street -- Officer Billy Burgin said there was an argument between subjects in the front yard.

Communicating threats -- E. Main Street (Barbecue King) -- Lt. Kent Lukach said two subjects were threatened inside the restaurant.

Bomb threat -- 306 W. Main Street (Jonas Library) -- Sgt. Johnny Caudle said someone called in bomb threats.

Disturbance -- 522 Magnolia Street -- Lt. Randy Willis said the victim was intoxicated and arguing with his mother.

Call for service -- 407 E. Liberty Street -- Officer Mark Sain said a fire alarm was coming from the building.

Child custody issue -- 412 Monroe Street -- Sgt. Jeremy Wilson said subjects were arguing over a child custody issue.

Call for service -- Roadway, Hallman and Salem Roads -- Officer Mark Sain said a juvenile was jumping in front of cars.

Larceny -- 1627 E. Main Street (Petro Express) -- Officer Richard Taylor said a suspect took beer from the store without paying.

Affray, assault on a female -- 2217 Smith Street -- Officer Richard Taylor said the suspect assaulted a male and female victim.
