Sgt. Spencer Summers said someone fired shots in a residential area.

1:40pm -- Disturbance, trespassing: 1210 E. Main Street (V&B Food Mart)
Officer Jimmy Barlowe said there was a verbal disturbance in the parking lot.

1:58pm -- Call for service: Lincoln County Department of Social Service
Officer Billy Burgin said homeless subject needed assistance.

4:24pm -- Assault: 2213 Arney Street
Officer Jimmy Barlowe said subjects pushed and grabbed victims.

7pm -- Strong armed robbery: Roadway of South Grove Street
Officer Dwayne McAlister said suspect hit victim and took wallet.

7:42pm -- Child abuse: 427 North Generals Blvd. (Bi-Lo)
Officer Richard Taylor said parent yelled at and smacked child in face.

12/30 @ 8:44am -- Property damage: Highland Drive Park (Concession stand)
Officer Jimmy Barlowe said a light fixture and down spout were damaged.
