BENEFIT CONCERT PLANNED FOR DEPUTY JUSTIN FRYE

LINCOLNTON – A benefit concert to help Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Justin Frye with his mounting medical expenses will be held 5pm Saturday, July 18 at Lincolnton High School.

Frye was hospitalized for two weeks and out of work for a month, suffering from heart and kidney failure after trying out for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Team.


Frye had to be put on a ventilator at one point during his stay at Frye Regional Medical Center.

Two live bands will be playing during the event. Deputy Dennis Long’s band, Willow Creek, will be playing bluegrass music. Detective Kelly Paris’ band, Paris, will be playing country music.

Food will be available for purchase during the event. All proceeds will go directly to Deputy Frye.
