LINCOLNTON
-- A Cleveland County woman,
being treated at Carolinas Medical Center
Lincoln, is cited for trying to steal two
large bags that were full of medical
supplies.
The
incident happened Monday around 10:30
p.m., according to an incident report on
file at the Lincolnton Police Department.
Crowder's
Mountain Rescue brought in Sandra Bean,
33, from Kings Mountain to the hospital
for treatment.
After
she was treated and signed her release
forms, police officer Kameron Keener was
told by hospital staff Bean was putting
medical supplies in a large plastic bag
inside her treatment room.
When
Bean left her room, Keener saw her
carrying two large bags. When Bean saw
Keener, she went back into her room.
The
woman told Keener the bags were left by
her bed, that she thought she could take
the items.
Bean was
cited for larceny.
