MAN CHARGED WITH FORGING PRESCRIPTION

LINCOLNTON A Catawba
County man is charged with forging a
prescription in Lincoln County over the
weekend.
The incident happened Saturday afternoon
at Walmart on North Generals Boulevard.
Officer Dwayne McAllister responded to
the scene and talked with Steven Randall
Wilson, the suspect.
An employee in the pharmacy called
Carolinas Medical Center Lincoln and
spoke with someone in the Emergency Room,
said McAllister. The nurse said
Wilson was seen on Friday and wasnt
given a prescription for anything.
Wilson admitted he had forged the
prescription for 60 Oxycotin because he
had ran out of medicine.
Wilson, 100 West 17th Street, Newton, was
charged with felony obtaining a
controlled substance by forgery. He was
taken to the Harven A. Crouse Detention
Center under a $2,000 secured bond.
