NORTH
LINCOLN -- Authorities had a
mystery on their hands in the wee hours
of Tuesday morning involving an
overturned vehicle with no driver.
North
321 firefighters -- along with Lincoln
EMS and law enforcement -- were called to
the intersection of Buffalo Shoals and
Spring East Roads just after midnight.
A caller
told Lincoln County Communications Center
dispatchers there wasn't anyone in the
vehicle, a fact confirmed by radio
traffic when firefighters arrived on the
scene.
Whoever
was the driver of the car had overturned
the vehicle at the intersection.
Law
enforcement obtained information on the
registered owner of the vehicle and was
investigating the case. Witnesses told
authorities they saw someone running from
the area a short time after the accident.
