LINCOLNTON
-- Authorities say a Lincoln woman didn't use her card
to get money from an ATM machine. Instead, she tried to break
into the machine.
The machine was located at the State Employee's Credit Union,
near Legend's Restaurant, located at 4821 Maiden Highway.
Deputy
Steven Grinnell was taking the report on the break-in when he

seen on video surveillance. Grinnell interviewed a female at that
location who admitted to the break-in attempt during the early
morning hours of Monday.
Officers found $600 hidden on Ms. Scronce and seized 100 dosage
units of Xanax. Damage to the ATM Machine was placed at $1,500.
Deputy Grinnell charged Teresa Mosteller Scronce, 43, of 4801
