WOMAN FINDS INTRUDER ARMED WITH KNIFE

LINCOLNTON – A woman wakes up early Wednesday morning and finds an unwelcome visitor, armed with a weapon.

Around 6:20am, the victim told police officer Dwayne McAllister she awoke to find a man standing over her with a knife. The incident happened at a rsidence on Garrison Lane off Country Club Road.

“She told me that she told the suspect to get out of the house, then picked up the phone and called police,” said McAllister. “The offender waited until the victim hung up and walked out the front door.”

The victim said the offender never spoke a word during the ordeal. There were no signs of forced entry and no property had been taken according to McAllister.

“I was unable to locate anyone in the area,” said McAllister.

The victim also told McAllister that it was very dark and she couldn’t tell whether the suspect was black or white.

“She thought he may have been wearing black body paint,” said McAllister.
