LINCOLNTON POLICE INVESTIGATING ASSAULT

LINCOLNTON -- A 28-year old is assaulted by three other people behind Arby's Restaurant on Railroad Street Thursday night.

Radio traffic indicated the assailants kicked the victim then crashed his head against a concrete block. Lincoln EMS transported the victim to Carolinas Medial Center Lincoln.

Lincolnton Police Officer Richard Harrington was told the Lincoln County Communications Center received two calls regarding the fight that happened around 7:55pm.

As of late Thursday night, Lincolnton Police were still investigating the incident.
