NEWTON -- Anne Stanton Kelly, 57, 1102 St. Charles Court, Newton, died June 30, 2009.

A funeral service was held 11 a.m. Friday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

A native of Wayne County, she was retired as a teacher for Lincoln County Schools.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herner T. and Sophia Crawford Stanton.

Survivors include nieces, Jo Musick and Beth Gore.

Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 205 E. 42nd St., New York, NY 10017.

Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton is serving the Kelly family.
