Extreme Makeover house taking shape as show ends run on ABC


The Friday's Extreme Makeover house is scheduled to be revealed on Saturday.

Larceny, trespassing suspects cited
LINCOLNTON –
Two Newton residents were cited for larceny with one suspect cited for trespassing at the Lincolnton Walmart. Aaron Lyda and Melissa Sipe were caught by employees stealing tools and other items from the store. Sipe was also previously banned from a Walmart. The couple has a February 14 day in court.

Christmas Cantata

Trinity Lutheran Church, Vale and Daniels Lutheran Church, Lincolnton will combine choirs to perform their Christmas Cantata at Trinity on Saturday, December 17 at 6:00 p.m. Cantata is titled "Lead Me Back to Bethlehem" and is composed by Pepper Choplin. Todd Wright, music director at Trinity and Linda Wyant, director at Daniels will lead the choirs in singing prayerful pieces about Jesus' birth.
